Third Eye Blind has been ordered to pay almost half a million dollars to former guitarist Anthony Fredianelli.
According to "The Hollywood Reporter," Fredianelli sued his former bandmates after he was frozen out of the group back in 2009. He claimed he hadn't been paid the full amount he'd earned after playing with them as a full-time member for nine years.
Now, a California jury has awarded him a little more than $447,000 in tour income, minus $9,000 for making personal charges on the band's credit card.
But the cash isn't close to what Fredianelli originally tried to get. He argued that he's actually entitled to a portion of ownership in the group as a whole.
