Third Annual Parade of Community Gardens
Saturday, August 16th @ 10:00am

Gardenworks is delighted to announce that 45 community gardens from across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota are opening their gardens to the public. Experience the unique and individual gardening efforts happening around the state. Gardens will feature a variety of attractions including music, a labyrinth, cool treats, massage, chickens, heirloom tomato festival, a beehive and more!

With rising gas and food prices, communities/families are looking for options to assist with their household budget. More and more people want to know how their food got to their plate. Community gardens are neighborhood educational centers for growing your own, deepening roots in the community, and beautifying the neighborhood. Community gardens are a hands-in, feet-on greenspace bridging generations & cultures.

Details and brochure map can be found at gardenworksmn.org or call GardenWorks at 612-278-7123.
