I Received My New Minnesota License Within One Week

I received my new driver's license within one week, while most Minnesotans are being told they'll have to wait several months to get theirs. 

I'm just curious - how long did it take for yours to arrive, or how long have you been waiting for it? 

The gal at the DMV told me my temporary paper license will be good for four months, which is how long I anticipated waiting for my real driver's license to arrive in the mail. Since I moved here from Colorado, I had to take the written test (alongside dozens of 15-year-olds applying for their permit). This was on a Thursday...I got my license not the following Saturday, but the Saturday after that. 

I was shocked, but obviously happy. So, how long have you been waiting?
