Minnesota Father Drowns Saving His Son Who Fell From A Bridge

A family mourns the death of a father who drowned saving his 3-year-old son this weekend.

According to Bring Me The News, 31-year-old Christopher Schultz jumped into the water at Dead Shot Bay on Saturday to save his 3-year-old son who'd fallen from Long Bridge.

Schultz began to struggle while holding his boy above water, but when others went in to bring the boy to shore, he never resurfaced.

He was found after a search from emergency services and was taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead.
