Minnesota Scooter Rider Killed In Car Collision During Morning Commute

A scooter operator was killed after colliding with a car in St. Louis Park during the Wednesday morning commute.

According to Bring Me The News, authorities responded to the scene at 28th Street West and Quentin Avenue South at around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning on report of a collision between a car and scooter that was licensed for use on the roadway.

The scooter rider was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the car driver cooperated with police and was released after further investigation. They do not believe drugs or alcohol played any role in the accident.
