You won't believe who's now making Hand Sanitizer now

You know who’s doing their part in the fight against the coronavirus? New York State inmates!

Yeah seriously, inmates in 13 New York State penitentiaries are spending their free time producing hand sanitizer, approximately 100,000 gallons per week!

So when you ask yourself what are you doing to fight the virus, I hope you can say just as much as those felons in New York.

If you’d like to buy some NYS Clean Sanitizer, it’ll cost you about 6 bucks a gallon. How so cheap? Inmates are paid a starting wage of 16 cents per hour and a maximum wage of 65 cents per hour, according to the Department of Corrections and Community Service.
