With a new full length on the horizon, we were half-expecting and fully-hoping that The Avett Brothers would debut some new material during their Friday evening performance for Conan. While those hopes were dashed, we were still treated to a wonderfully, delicate rendition of 'Murder In The City' originally found on their 2007 EP 'The Second Gleam':
