Anthony Gonzalez of M83 is jumping on the bandwagon and creating his own custom pair of Converse sneakers. In the past, other artists such as Bon Iver, Animal Collective, and Gorillaz have created their own custom shoes.

Along with the release of the new shoes, Converse is also giving fans a chance to create their own original poster design inspired by M83's album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. The poster designs can be in the form of drawings, paintings, or photographs.



Converse will choose three winners to receive a pair of the M83 custom shoes, and have their design featured on limited-edition band posters. Along with that, one hundred of each of the three designs will be sold at M83's Central Park Summer Stage show in Manhattan on Aug. 8.
