The Killers released their new track 'Runaways' earlier this month, giving fans a first glimpse of their new album Battle Born, which is due for release September 17.

NME recently unveiled the new, somewhat dull video for the new single. The video alternates between the band performing the song in front of different backgrounds mashed together with clips of a highway speeding by. And, that's about it:

You have to wonder if the band is embracing their 80's influences a little too much. Hard to ignore the Asia 'Heat of the Moment' riffs in 'Runaways' and the cover, let's just be honest, it's straight up ZZ Top.
