Noon Update: The Dakota Jazz Club just posted about the ticketing via Facbebook:
--
11am Update: As expected, the Dakota's online ticketing system (and entire website for that matter) went down a few minutes before 11am. As of 11:07am, the ticketing site was back up but tickets for Prince's shows were still listed as unavailable leading us to assume that the Star Tribune's 11am estimate was incorrect and that tickets don't go on sale to the public until later this evening.

Only Prince and the New Power Generation could turn something as mundane as a tour rehersal into a VIP ticketed event. According to the Star Tribune, Tickets are expected to go on sale today at 11am for Prince's 3-days of rehersals at the Dakota Jazz Club but if you visit the Dakota's ticketing page and click on the shows, you'll see a pop-up window outlining that each show is slated to go on-sale shortly before 6pm...
Prices range from $70 for Wednesday's Soundcheck & new drummer auditions (?) all the way up to $250 for Friday evening's 'Surprise'.
Wednesday (1/16) :: Soundcheck: New drummer audition and Improvisational Music. Also, DJ Rashida will spin new, unreleased music.
Thursday (1/17) :: Jam
Friday 1/18 :: Surprise
There is a limit of four tickets per person. The kitchen will be closed all night and there will be no food available for purchase. Cameras and cell phones will not be allowed inside. Leave your cell phones behind. If you are caught with a phone, you will be removed from the venue by security-No exceptions. Should you bring one, a cell phone check will be provided at the door.
You may be asking yourself, 'Why the Dakota and not Paisley Park?' Well, according to DrFunkenberry.com, Fun. already has the space booked for their tour rehersals!
