Why hasn't Mat Kearney been tweeting nearly as much as he used to?? Whyyyy!!!
It's the question that has sparked a media frenzy - TMZ's been wondering, Perez Hilton is marginally curious and the Discovery Channel staff are still regrouping after realizing that they've been cutting checks to the wrong dude...Well, we vowed to not rest until the truth was uncovered...which occurred much quicker than we had anticipated thanks to Mat just plainly spelling it out in a tweet. Thanks pal, we were sort of growing tired of sleuthing:

Seems like an innocent enough photo: Mat's guitar, a pillow, a black & white rug and some blurry, yellow legal pads with freshly-penned, never before seen lyrics that could be the next worldwide smash hit from Mat Kearney! If only we could see what he wrote...
