Now in its 14th year, the festival has expanded to include year-round programming, pop-up cinefeasts, and special presentations including world and regional premiere screenings.
The festival kicks off November 13 7:00 PM at the Landmark Center in Saint Paul, with a documentary screening of Every Everything: The Music, Life & Times of Grant Hart”, with a question and answer session with Grant Hart, Director Gorman Bechard.

How To Go To Confession is the latest single by A Firm Handshake featuring Sammy Brown, the band's lead vocalist. A Firm Handshake found worldwide success earlier this year when its EP Fix Me Up soared to #1 on the iTunes Album Charts and #20 on Billboard's Hot 200. The single was written by Sammy Brown for her lifelong friend and songwriting partner Zach Sobiech, the Minnesota teen who inspired millions with his song Clouds. How to Go to Confession is a lilting, bittersweet anthem musically influenced by Sammy's Celtic heritage. Her talent as both a songwriter and a vocalist shines, and the single offers a glimpse of greatness yet to come for Sammy and her band.
How To Go To Confession will be made available worldwide on 11.5.13 through digital retailers like iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, etc., and streaming services like Spotify.
At Sammy Brown's request, Rock the Cause Records will donate a portion of net proceeds from the sale of How To Go To Confession to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund at ChildrensCancer.org/Zach. Zach Sobiech lost his battle with cancer in May of 2013.
