Graham Parker & The Rumour Reunion Tour [Great Soulful British Pub-Rock

Fitzgerald Theater, St Paul/ 7:30/ $39.50/ AA

--GP & The Rumour exploded out of the English “pub rock” scene with their Nick Lowe-produced debut album, 1976’s Howlin’ Wind, and its’ Top Forty single, “Hey Lord, Don’t Ask Me Questions”. The followup, the critically acclaimed Heat Treatment, and their incendiary live shows built them a great reputation. The 1979 mostly live Squeezing Out Sparks, is considered a classic and, along with their debut, is on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All-Time! You may have seen him perform solo each August at Brit’s Pub for their Bastille Day Celebration but I highly recommend catching him with a full band, especially this one!
