Hello Cities listeners! I hope you have all been having a great summer so far, and have been able to attend some fun concerts. Luckily for me, as an intern at Cities 97, my summer has been filled with great live performances like Brett Dennen,
Hello, everyone! Brad here. The other Brad.
This is my first summer as a Cities 97 intern and it has been a great experience for me. I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to take photos at all the events I've worked this summer (yes, that's me at Oake on the Water with the camera strapped around my neck) and I've loved every second of it. Taking photos of Florence + The Machine at her MN Zoo sound check has definitely been one of the highlights. You can see those photos, along with many of my other photos, here: http://www.cities97.com/cc-common/gallery/globalphotos.html
If you see me at any upcoming Cities 97 events, come up and say 'Hi.' I'd be happy to take your picture.

I can’t believe summer is going by so quickly! It is already July and I feel like I have seen so many amazing concerts and have met so many awesome people! Some of my favorite concerts this summer have been Sara Bareilles and Matt Nathanson. They are so talented and put on an amazing live show! Sara Bareilles at the zoo was so much fun, and it was a perfect night to be at the zoo! It was my first concert at the zoo and I couldn’t have asked for a better artist to see. Matt Nathanson was also one of my favorites so far this summer. It was so cool to see him at the Electric Fetus, which is such a small and intimate in store performance. Also, I loved how he met every person that was there and took pictures with them! Seriously, taking a picture with him was a big highlight to my summer! There are so many other great concerts coming up like Grace Potter and the Nocturnals,
