In the summertime, the weekend begins Thursday afternoon.
Brian Oake hosts our 6th season of Thursday afternoon live broadcasts (3p-7) from the sun-soaked decks of lakeside restaurants and bars all over the Twin Cities. At some of this year’s broadcasts Brian Oake will be joined by local and national artists for free performances. Sun Country Airlines will be on-site with free airfare and some of the Minnesota bands featured on their in-flight Minnesota Music Channels.
So, grab your friends and co-workers and join him on his summer-long tour for great music (including some live Studio Cs) and prizes like free concert tickets, CDs personal water craft and airfare on Sun Country.

Lee Valsvik and her team of Breast Cancer 3-Day walkers invite you to
donate $5 and a bra. They will be strung across the Stillwater lift
bridge at the July 31st Oake on the Water at PD Pappy’s to honor the
hundreds of teams walking this year.

Matt Nathanson brought the fans out of the woodwork for Thursday's Oake on the Water broadcast live from Maynards in Excelsior. Matt played two songs as part of the Oake on the Water Broadcast and stuck around to play a few more off air.

Emerging Artist Eric Hutchinson (around the station we refer to him as E-Hutch!) joined Oake on the beautiful deck at Maynards for a special on-site Studio C performance. It was a packed deck and for good reason; the weather was phenomenal and E-Hutch was providing the soundtrack for the night.
