Well, my goal for the 90 Day Challenge was to get into a routine. I wanted to find a way to make working out fit into my already insanely packed schedule. What i’m finding is what we’ve heard over and over before...exercising regularly is giving me more energy for the rest of the things i do all day.
Knowing that in your head is really different than experiencing it in your body. Sometimes, i start my training sessions feeling sluggish and sleepy, wishing i was anywhere but about to break a sweat with my trainer, Bre. But we laugh, and talk and move, and by the end of the hour, i feel good. I mean REALLY good. And that feeling lasts throughout my day.
I’m learning that it’s hard to get myself to the gym. But if i can do it, and give myself a good, focused 15 minutes, i forget that i’m tired, and, instead, get invigorated.
Plus, the atmosphere at Lifetime Fitness is pretty infectious. Everyone’s endorphins are buzzing and it really is contagious!
There’s also Try It Tuesdays. Tonight i’m doing Group Fitness. I’m not sure what it is, but i’ll let you know once i’m done! Try It Tuesdays allow members to try out different classes offered at Lifetime Fitness. If you’ve seen a class or organized activity, but been afraid to try it, this is for you!
Along with the recipes Bre’s been printing off for me, it’s been a pretty complete, really fun challenge. I’m excited to see what comes next!
