When something large happens in life, it's often hard to sum what you're feeling inside. Most likely because it's not one simple emotion. Sometimes when you can't express what you're feeling and you can't find the right words, a song is the best way to vent and share what's going on inside with others.

I was in high school when Yellowcard broke through with their platinum album "Ocean Avenue". I remember listening to this song, "Believe", in my friend's car and getting goose-bumps.

Thrice is a band that went on hiatus on 2012 although they made great impact in the music scene I grew up in. They were very well received in our scene, but really broke though with their 2003 album "The Artist In The Ambulance". This is their heavy song, "Broken Lungs" off their album "The Alchemy Index Vols. III & IV".
And lastly, I felt this blog would only benefit if we heard from Bruce Springsteen. He has a handful of songs on that list shared above, so here is just one of them.
