Yukon Cornelius is not only the name of the lovable prospector from the classic stop motion holiday favorite 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer' but it is also the name (swap that 'C' out for a 'K') of one of the greatest cover bands you've probably never heard of. Just who is Yukon Kornelius?

Originally organized in 2008 to raise money for charity, the group became known for their live shows, which often featured fan-favorite covers and celebrity special guests including Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) and Boyd Tinsley (Dave Matthews Band). They have also become notorious for playing venues near skiing and snowboarding lodges, since all members share a passion for the outdoors.
