Last night was a BLAST! First of all, Union is a sweet place. If you hadn't been there before (like me), you were in for a visual treat!

When I first walked in, you could feel that the crowd had energy, and there was anticipation in the air! (I spotted Casey Abrams walking through the buffet line, in his super-chill way, just like everyone else. So cute!)

Oake and I grabbed a bevie, and laughed about how strange it was to be out among the living so late in the day, when we're usually winding down for the night! lol!!

Brian Thomas, our killer engineer and all-around great guy, was in position and ready for some live music.

 

I got to jump on the air with our afternoon guy, Paul Fletcher, who was showcasing his killer arm-art, along with Veronica Rodriguez, who keeps things moving between the live broadcasts and the business back at the station.

Of course, we had to get a shot of the two Beardo's!

Meiko and Casey Abrams both killed their live sets. It was such a treat to give the listeners a little taste of the free music that one of them would be winning for a year!

I had to leave before they announced the winner, but i listened on my drive home. Congrats to Michelle Hagen! She sounded like the PERFECT person to win! I gotta admit, listening in my car, I MAY have teared up for a second. That is until I think she swore on the radio..which made me bust out laughing. I think we'll get along just fine!

Michelle looked amazing in her royal gear! Congratulations!!!
