Constantly badmouthing your Ex, can be a negative reflection on you. After all you dated the jerk for weeks/months/years.

Even if it hurts, don’t mention it. Every time you put the L word out about your Ex you may be prolonging the healing process.

So your ex was amazing and it just didn’t work out. Sharing all of the great qualities may come across that the new love doesn’t match what you had before.
