If ya did miss this album? Don't feel uninformed or out of the loop, almost everyone missed it. I only found it cuz it was sent to me. I'm SO glad it was. It's one of my favorite albums of the last decade. And now I have to do my part to pass that along. They are New Jersey's Parlor Mob. I was lucky enough to see them at South By Southwest in 2008, I believe, maybe 2009. Anyway, this album, Dogs (released in 2011), was probably not even a thought yet at that point. 

My understanding is that their lack of exposure is as much due to them being their own worst enemy as anything else. None the less, it is what a rock record should be. Balanced. Well written. In your face, but also tender. LOVE this band. LOVE this album. Here are some stand outs, but please look up the tracklist HERE and listen to all the songs, with an album this good it's so hard to just pick 3 or 4. That doesn't encapsulate the record.
