After listening to Brandi Carlile's "Bear Creek" album, I immediately thought to myself.....this chick is channeling Johnny Cash. He's living through her. 

Ok, fast forward to New Year's Eve.....my wonderful wife, Spencer, and I were lucky enough to attend Brandi's sold out "party" (She made it very clear that night that it was a party, not a show.....she said, "We play ONE party a year"). Well, before leaving for the show wifey and I made a deal that we wanted to be home with the little one for "midnight". 

Now, I bring the 2 together. Guess what we missed because we left early?! Yep, we missed Brandi channeling Johnny.....live....right there in front of our very eyes and I just learned this TODAY. Her voice makes this a little prettier than it should be, but it still gave me goosepimples.
