I was never a huge Etch A Sketch'er. For the creativity I do have in me, I could never manifest it via round knobs and finely shredded aluminum. However, I think most people would agree that it's one of the most endearing products/toys ever created. I imagine everyone has picked one up at least once in their life. SO, even though I wasn't a big Etch A Sketch'er and I didn't know the guy, it makes me a bit sad to hear that the creator has passed away. He is, French electrician Andre Cassagnes passing at the age of 86. He invented the Etch A Sketch by accident. Apparently, he was just messin around in his garage when he came up with the device that would go on to become a toy icon.
I thought it fitting to gather some of the greatest Etch A Sketching's I could find on the interwebs, so here ya go!
RIP Mr. Cassagnes!

Had to start with some music etchings.....of course......The Beatles one is ridiculous.......I could barely write Paul on an Etch A Sketch.......

Gizmo....don't feed after midnight....Yes, the Mogwai & the smart guy
