All that said, I don't have any legendary old school pics online like Oake & Keri do. I'll work on that. However, the one I do have to share with you today is pretty eventful and fantastic.
Below is the mock up of our "VIP" passes we gave our wedding party. Yep, we did a rock n roll wedding including guitar pick party favors for the tables, vinyl 45" centerpieces, Chuck Taylor's for the wedding party to change into at the reception and these little beauties.
(Note: How about the rock star expression on, my wife, Spencer's face? Talk about knockin out of the park, plus it's not like she looked incredibly hot or anything)
AND since Oake & Keri posted a video from the time frame their photo's came from, I'll steal that too. (I mean, why quit now?)
This song is about as near and dear to our hearts as any song on Earth. This was our first dance song and said song was written by a friend of ours, Nate Stone. Nate is an excellent singer/songwriter from Arizona (Though he is FROM here originally, Alexandria if I remember correctly, so he's "one of us") :) Nate didn't write this song FOR us, but it sure felt like he did and what's better, he was at our wedding and did this song live at our reception. One of the greatest memories of each of our lives.
And just for fun....here is the actual first dance recording. Still chokes me up watching this. Thought it was worth sharing.
