Sometimes you just have a day or a weekend, whatever, where you are just looking for something different to listen to. You've been in that spot before right? You're bored of your "go-to's", not in the mood to explore new stuff. Just want.......something.....different. I found myself in this spot this past weekend. And then I remembered one of my favorite bands that, for whatever reason, I haven't listened to in awhile, Our Lady Peace. I believe them to be one of the more underrated bands of the 90's and 2000's. I'm not saying they should've been one of the biggest bands in the world, but in Canada they're royalty, here in the States they're relative unknowns.
Anyway, when I was hungry for some "different" music last weekend, I went back to what I believe to be Our Lady Peace's best piece of work. Their 2009 album, "Healthy In Paranoid Times". Check out some of the standout tracks from that album.
Walking In Circles
Wipe That Smile Off Your Face (I spoke with Raine from OLP back in 2009 and he said this song was the cornerstone or measuring stick for the album)
