That is a DELIGHTFUL surface bruise. Hahahaha. Christmas of 2011 my wonderful, Spencer, got me an "iPlunge". As you can see below it's a cool little mini plunger when fixed to an iPhone works as a little kick stand.
One of the coolest gifts ever. Well, being the constant random goofball that I am, last night in bed I decided I should attach the plunger to my forehead and what you see below.....is the result. I think I had it on my forehead for, like, 30 seconds. SO, let that be a lesson to ya. No matter how curious you are to attach an iPlunge to your forehead, it's not worth it.
Best part? The kicker? This is the second time I've done this. I guess I just forgot about the GIANT red mark it left back on Xmas night 2011.
So......here ya go......have a laugh on me.
Pretty much the only thing that hurts is my pride and ego......THIS WAS THE MORNING AFTER FIXING IT TO MY HEAD FOR 30 SECONDS.
A Mother & Daughter seriously injured in the Boston Marathon bombings were visited by a Marine who's survived similar injuries. Pretty inspiring stuff from a situation that could've been a lot darker.
This kid is one of the sweetest little boys ever. I, and any Dad I would guess, would only hope to have the knd of impact on their children as this little dude's Dad obviously had.

This has NEVER happened before, at least not during my time, so far, at Cities97. Perhaps an Earth Day coincidence? OR perhaps these poor kids are SO confused by the weather they'll try anywhere? I don't speak Canadian Goose, so I can't tell you exactly what they were doing there, but it was pretty cool.
This just happened at 3:05pm.
I don't know about you, but I can ALWAYS get better at appreciating and taking care of our Mother Earth. Every year I make a point to get a little better at least one thing. My quest for improvement, this year, landed me on a great article. It's a VERY simple list of 10 things we can do EVERYDAY to treat our planet better. Perhaps you're already doing all these, if that's the case read it anyway as a pat on the back of good a job you're doing. But maybe you stumble on one more simple thing you can do better.
10 Ways To Celebrate Earth Day All Year Long

I can't stop posting about Walk Off The Earth. What a positive force of nature amidst the music landscape right now. Love this performance on the Today show. Effortlessly phenomenal. Looks like they're just hangin out, jammin, yet sound spot on.

There have probably been other super cute and charming songs like this one, but this is the cute and charming of RIGHT NOW and that's what matters.
Anna Kendrick is ridiculous. She's adorable. She's a fantastic actress.....I submit exhibit A, she's hilarious in this scene from Up In The Air......
Oh yeah! And there's that little matter of her ridiculously cute and charming song.....check out "Cups"!
It’s not often you run across a person like Chris Kluwe, let alone a professional athlete who gives back like he does. Some atheletes/celebs go above and beyond the call of duty. Some do just the required amount and some are just thrilled to be ridiculously wealthy and famous and could care less about giving back (Well, at least that’s my perspective). ANYWAY, then there’s Chris Kluwe, find on Twitter @ChrisWarcraft, by the way, for a killer “follow”. Chris doesn’t just do what’s required or just go above and beyond. He comes up with unique, creative and incredibly thoughtful ways of bringing awareness to some real worthwhile issues.
He does things like this……
