The Duluth-based band Low has been making slow, quiet and mostly melancholy music for 20 years. I think they are amazing. In less than a month, on March 19th, the band will release its 10th studio album The Invisible Way. After a recent visit to Wilco's home studio, The Loft, the band decided that this is where they would record their new album, enlisting Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy to assist in the album's production.

One of the most interesting things about the new Low record is that founding member Mimi Parker, who normally assumes primary vocal duties on just a couple of tracks each albums, takes the lead on more than half of the songs on The Invisible Way. Here is the first single. I absolutely love it. I hope you do to.
