*Regular readers of my blog will note that I actually posted this song last week, but with the soundtrack coming out today, I felt it was worthy of a re-share. Yeah, it's that good*

Lana Del Rey, it seems, is a very polarizing artist. Some see her as a glamorous, modern chanteuse, able to tell rich, immediate stories with a palette awash in sadness and retro cool. Others see her as a semi-talented diva lost in a muddle of genres somewhere between Hollywood's Golden Era and Ghetto Fabulousness. Either way, there is no arguing that there is no one else quite like her. 

I happen to be a big fan. I also feel like she is the PERFECT artist to contribute a song to the soundtrack of the upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio film, The Great Gatsby, which hits theaters this Friday, May 10th. I hate starting the day with bad news. The very first news story I saw when I wokeup this morning was the passing of Kris Kross Mac Daddy, Chris Kelly, at the age of 34. Kelly died of an apparent drug overdose. So sad... Instead of dwelling on speculation or rumor, I want to remember the reason we ALL fell in love with Kris Kross' debut release Totally Krossed Out more than 20 years ago.



Of course, 'Jump' was the mega-smash hit single, but we would be remiss if we did not also mention the considerably less popular, but still excellent 'I Missed The Bus'.
