Steak with Red Pepper Sauce

1-7 oz. jar of roasted red peppers, drained 1T olive oil
4T chopped leeks 2t balsamic vinegar
2 New York Strips 1t fresh thyme
1T olive oil 1t fresh rosemary, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced 1t basil
Puree roasted red peppers and chopped leeks in food processor. Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar and process until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place steaks in a shallow dish. Rub both sides with oil, garlic and herb mixture. Season with freshly ground pepper. Cook steaks over hot grill to desired doneness. Transfer to plates and spoon sauce over steaks. Serve with grilled zucchini and corn on the cob this time of year!
