Apricot Honey Ham Glaze SUBMITTED BY: Chef Philip Dorwart
Spoon ham glaze over ham and baste - uncovered - during last 30-40 minutes of baking time. Remember, you're not actually cooking a ham - that's already been done - you're warming it slowly to a hot serving temperature. 300-degrees is ideal, figuring about 15-minutes on the timer for each pound of ham.
INGREDIENTS 2/3 cup Apricot Preserves 3/4 cup Minnesota Honey 2 T. Cornstarch 3T. Lemon Juice 1/4 t. Ground Cloves 1 T. Dijon Mustard
DIRECTIONS Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Spoon ham glaze over ham and baste during last 40 minutes of baking, if using a conventional oven, or the last 30 minutes of baking using a convection oven.
