The Cities' 97 is pleased to present The Cities' Sampler, Vol. 3: Songs For The Earth, our third annual recording benefiting The Minnesota Food Shelf Association.

Since the debut of The Cities' 97 Sampler, Vol. 1 in 1989, Sampler sales have raised $120,000 for people of all ages throughout Minnesota.

In 1991, the staff of The Cities' 97 gathered a variety of songs that concern the environment. Many of these recordings have never been commercially available. These songs paint a real landscape of paradise lost. These contemporary voices mix anger and hope. We would like to think these messages will inspire action.
